An example of the use of S-Ply^® leaf springs in sporting goods are suspension elements on mountain bikes, racing and gravel bikes as well as recumbent bicycles. With over 400,000 test oscillation cycles, our leaf springs made of fibre composite material have qualified for use in high-quality suspension forks. The leaf springs take over guidance and damping of the front wheel.

In addition to low weight and absolute freedom from maintenance, the progressive spring rate is also impressive: This means that the further the fork compresses, the stiffer the springs become. S-Ply^® leaf springs are also successfully used as guide and suspension elements on the front axle of Recumbent tricycles.
