Glass fibre-reinforced polymer GFRP

Glass fibre-reinforced polymer as reinforcement effectively reduce notching and shear stress when installing leaf springs made of S-Ply®.

Product information

  • Material: epoxy resin with glass roving fabric reinforcement
  • good electrical properties and high mechanical strength even at higher temperatures
  • available in loose form or bonded directly to the leaf spring as part of the finishing of components
  • supplied cut to size or according to drawing, mechanically processed e.g., with curves or holes

GFRP green

  • Glass fibre-reinforced polymer in thicknesses of 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm

GFRP blue (food-safe and antimicrobial)

  • Glass fibre-reinforced polymer in thickness of 1.0 mm
  • for S-Ply® blue and S-Ply® carbon blue leaf springs

  • Suitable for the food industry according to Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and FDA Sec. 177.2280
